Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant said on Thursday that Israel will continue military operations against the Lebanese Hezbollah group, even though the new phase of fighting includes great risks.
He added in a statement: “In the new phase of the war, there are great opportunities, but there are also great risks… Hezbollah feels persecuted and military operations will continue.”
“Our goal is to ensure that the residents of northern Israel return safely to their homes. As time goes on, Hezbollah will pay an increasing price,” he added.
