ANN ARBOR, MI – After steady snow reduced travel across southeast Michigan Wednesday, some Washtenaw County schools have opted to remain closed Thursday.
Several of the district’s public K-12 districts opted close again Thursday, citing secondary and subdivision roads that have not yet been plowed after the area was hit with several inches of snow.
The Chelsea School District noted that conditions of rural roads north and south of town continue to make travel conditions unsafe for buses and drivers.
The following schools in Washtenaw County are closed Wednesday:
Central Academy of Ann Arbor
Chelsea School District
Dexter Community Schools
Father Gabriel Richard High School
Fortis Academy
Lincoln Consolidated Schools
Manchester Community Schools
Milan Area Schools
Saline Area Schools
South Arbor Charter Academy
Whitmore Lake Public Schools
Ypsilanti Community Schools
This list will be updated
