A 24-year-old was injured on Friday night in Oroklini by an attacker bearing a sharp object.
Police said that at 10.50pm in Oroklini area an unknown person attacked the 24-year-old, who suffered a cut to his forehead.
He was taken by ambulance to Larnaca general hospital, where his wound was stitched and he was admitted for further treatment.
The victim was not in a position to testify to the police on Friday night.
Oroklini police are investigating the case.
