The UNDP’s rapid assessment of the impact of the conflict on Lebanon’s GDP was released on the eve of a summit it is hosting France To help mobilize international support for Lebanon.
The program said it expects the conflict to continue until the end of 2024, leading to a 30 percent increase in the government’s financing needs in a country that was already reeling before the conflict began.
