UNIFIL is “deeply concerned” about Israel’s activities in Lebanon

She concluded by saying: “UNIFIL urgently reminds all parties of their obligations to protect my staff United Nations and its property.”

UNIFIL has previously warned that any Israeli cross-border incursion is a “violation” of Lebanon’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

She pointed out at the time that Its peacekeeping forces remain in their positions despite the developments taking place.
