Ukraine, future opponent of the Red Devils, reveals its provisional selection of 26

In his selection, Rebrov named his captain Oleksandr Zinchenko (Arsenal/Eng), Girona (Esp) striker Artem Dovbyk and Chelsea (Ang) winger Mykhailo Mudryk. Goalkeeper Andriy Lunin, who took the place between the poles of Real Madrid (Esp) during Thibaut Courtois' injury this season, is also in the game.

For its Euro, the Mannschaft will go from a small group to more than 400 selections: “The longest conversation lasted 22 minutes”

Ukraine qualified for Euro 2024 via the play-offs. The Ukrainians won their semi-final in Bosnia-Herzegovina (1-2) at the end of the suspense before winning “at home”, in Poland, against Iceland (2-1) in the final. Placed in Group E, Ukraine will face the Red Devils, as well as Slovakia and Romania.

As preparation, Sergiy Rebrov's men will face Germany on June 3, Poland on June 7 and Moldova on June 11. They will then begin the Euro against Romania on June 17, before a match against Slovakia on June 21. The match against Belgium will take place on June 26 in Stuttgart.

This is the fourth consecutive time that Ukraine has qualified for the final phase of the Euro. During the last edition, in 2021, she reached the quarter-finals of the competition and lost against England.

The selectors must submit a final list of 23 to 26 players by June 7 to UEFA.
