Three people were arrested early on Monday morning in Famagusta after a 27-year-old man was robbed at knifepoint in Ayia Napa.
According to his police, at around 11:20pm on Sunday night three people approached the man and threatened him with a knife, demanding his phone and money.
The man gave them his phone but when he showed the suspects he had no money they gave it back to him and fled.
During a patrol at 1:30am police stopped the three suspects.
They didn’t have any ID so were the police station. They were identified as an 18-year-old and two 15-year-olds.
The suspects were arrested for the attempted robbery and for the theft of two bikes on Saturday in Ayia Napa.
