The UAE and Vietnam sign the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement

He pointed to the continuous growth witnessed by the economic and trade relations between the UAE and Vietnam, as the volume of non-oil trade between the two countries reached $12.12 billion during the past year, with a growth rate of 38.7 percent compared to 2022.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid added: “Our national companies, such as Dubai Ports World Mubadala and Borouge manage huge investments in Vietnam, and today our non-oil trade with them amounts to more than $12 billion in 2023.”

For his part, the Vietnamese Prime Minister stressed his country’s interest in strengthening its cooperation relations with the UAE and opening new horizons for their economic and trade partnerships in a way that serves their common interests and fulfills the aspirations of their people for the future.
