Now I’ve seen it all! A front-page article in The Mercury headlined “What is the Electoral College?” penned by no other than the radically left-biased Associated Press. Rather than explain the common sense logic behind why we have the Electoral College system of electing our presidents in our representative constitutional form of government, the article implied Republicans only win the Presidency when they win the Electoral College and lose the popular vote.

To those applauding the deaths of innocents in Gaza: Hamas took political control with 44% of the vote, probably through intimidation or the background of 70 years of injustices by the Israeli government. (Learn some history.) How many of the 56% who didn’t vote for Hamas have dead children, and now hate Israel and America? Your comments say everything about you and are one reason we don’t want your type anywhere near American power.
As we approach November 5, consider your future and your family’s future. Do your fact-finding related to the Democrats’ recent history of manipulating elections to ensure their selected puppets get elected? Ask yourself the question, (if your fact-finding aligns with the allegations), do you really want your future to be subjected to such, or even worse, behavior and actions by your president? Are you more concerned about your party affiliation or our democracy?

Larry Hogan was “distancing himself from Trump” due to Trump’s latest personal attacks on Kamala Harris. LOL. Larry Hogan has never been a Trump supporter. Trump is called a racist, “Hitler”, and every other name by Democrats, and he isn’t allowed to respond in kind, according to The Mercury.

Saw an old friend from years ago, and after swapping stories, we started to get to our current political situation. He said that he tries to get a good handle on things and reads the New York Times, watches most of the news channels, ABC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, and listens to NPR. Have you noticed how disrespectful people are today? For instance, at Cracker Barrels and rest areas (as well as other places), there are parking spots reserved for RVs and large vehicles. When I was vacationing with my RV, it used to be that I could pull into these spaces with no problem, now more often than not cars are parked in them, even though there are plenty of other spots for them to park.
