The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported: “More than 9 explosions occurred in… Homs city and its countrysideIt was caused by the fall of unknown missiles, most likely Israeli, near the Homs refinery, Qusayr, and the Auras farms on the outskirts of the city of Homs, where military points for the regime forces and Lebanese Hezbollah are located in the area. A missile also exploded in a building in the Hadara neighborhood in Homs, likely resulting from the fall of the remains of a missile fired. By the Syrian Air Defense Forces, as the regime’s ground-based anti-aircraft guns attempted to confront the missiles, without any information being received about initial human losses.”
According to the Syrian Observatory, it was targeted Israel Syrian territory 9 times since the beginning of 2024, 6 of which were air strikes and 3 ground strikes. These strikes resulted in the injury and destruction of about 26 targets, including weapons and ammunition depots, headquarters, centers, and vehicles.
These strikes killed 24 soldiers, in addition to wounding 7 others with varying injuries, according to the Syrian Observatory.
