The Larnaca criminal court on Monday sentenced a 22-year-old man to 16 years in prison for his involvement in an illegal drug importation case.
The man was arrested by members of the drug squad Ykan on January 4, 2024.
During searches conducted on his vehicle and residence, approximately 42 kilos of cannabis were discovered and seized.
The investigation was carried out by the Larnaca Ykan squad.
