POTTSTOWN — Scenes of the Schuylkill, hosted by the Schuylkill River Greenways NHA, is an annual juried art show and sale that celebrates the beauty of the Schuylkill River Region through art. Artists from around the region are invited to submit artwork that celebrates the people, landscape, and history of the watershed. This year’s juror is Kristen VonHoen of ArtFusion 19464.

The Artists reception will be held Nov. 14 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the North Hall Gallery of Montgomery County Community College’s Pottstown Campus.  Ticketing closes Nov. 8 here: https://support.schuylkillriver.org/events

“We are so excited to be celebrating the 20th anniversary of our art show this year,” said Alex Shandera, events and development coordinator for SRG.  Attendees of the Nov. 14 event will  have the opportunity to meet the artists and purchase art, as well as enjoy a food and cocktail reception.  Prize winners will be announced during the artists’ reception.

“The art and artists amaze us every year,” Shandera said. “It’s really incredible to see all the different ways that artists capture and express the beauty of the Schuylkill River Watershed.”
