The participants in the session touched on the effects of the unrest in the Red Sea region, stressing that these crises are not limited to the Suez Canal, but rather affect global supply chains, causing noticeable delays in the arrival of goods to the ports, an increase in the use of fuel, and thus an increase in costs. and negative environmental impacts, drawing attention to the importance of the lessons learned from these disturbances, international cooperation to explore effective solutions, and plans to ensure the flexibility of logistical services to confront any disturbance that may affect global maritime trade lines in general.
