Saudi Arabia recorded an earthquake measuring 2.5 on the Richter scale at 2:30 pm today, south of the city of Al-Shaqiq, which is located in the southwestern part of the Kingdom on the Red Sea coast.
Tariq Aba Al-Khail, the official spokesman for the Saudi Geological Survey, said that the earthquake did not cause any danger, and no aftershocks were recorded, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
