As he considered Prince Faisal bin Farhan“The war on Gaza has caused a humanitarian catastrophe, in addition to the serious violations carried out by the Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank, and the threat to Al-Aqsa Mosque and Islamic and Christian holy sites, as a perpetuation of the policy of occupation and violent extremism.”

He stated that “self-defense does not justify the killing of tens of thousands of civilians, practices of systematic destruction, forced displacement, the use of starvation as a tool of war, incitement, dehumanization, and systematic torture in its worst forms, including sexual violence, and other documented crimes.”

He considered that “the establishment of an independent Palestinian state is an inherent right and a basis for peace, and not a final result negotiated within an unattainable political process,” describing the implementation of the two-state solution as “the ideal solution to break the cycle of conflict and suffering.”

Last week, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman stressed that his country would not establish diplomatic relations with Israel before the establishment of a Palestinian state.
