Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov is scheduled to hold talks with his Egyptian counterpart Badr Abdel Aty in Moscow on Monday.
The Russian news agency “TASS” reported that the two sides are expected to pay special attention to settling the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and focus on the bilateral agenda.
In a statement to TASS, Egypt’s Ambassador to Russia Nazih El-Nagari said that the talks will cover a wide range of issues related to the Middle East.
He added: “Certainly, the situation in Palestine and the Gaza Strip is of utmost importance to us, just like the situation in the region in general, including Libya and Sudan.”
