Agents and staff of Richard A. Zuber Realty enjoy the Christmas season. The agency’s Community Outreach Committee once again hosts its popular Holiday Light Tour and seeks toy donations to benefit the Boyertown Salvation Army.
For the sixth year, Zuber Realty invites homeowners within a 10-mile radius of Boyertown to add to the festivities of the season by decorating their homes and registering to be part of its Holiday Light Tour. Registration runs through Nov. 22 at zuberrealty.com/lighttour. The tour runs from Dec. 6 through Dec. 31.
Prizes will be awarded for each category. The grand prize of $100 will go to Your Favorite category winner. Receiving the $50 cash prize will be the winners of the True Meaning of Christmas, Kids’ Choice, Best Use of Technology and Lucky Winner categories. Votes will be counted on Jan. 3. Winners will be announced on the Zuber Realty website at zuberrealty.com/lighttour. Prizes will be available for pick up at the corporate office until Jan. 10.
This year, Boyertown’s downtown businesses are invited to light up the town and become part of the tour.
The agency also seeks toy donations. Drop off toys in barrels at Zuber Realty’s corporate office in Boyertown at 201 E. Philadelphia Ave. and a satellite office in Royersford at 384 N. Lewis Road. Monetary donations are also welcome through 5 p.m. on Dec. 8. Toys and donations will be delivered to the Boyertown Salvation Army to distribute to the area’s children.
Santa and The Grinch are scheduled to visit with children and their families on Dec. 15 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Zuber Realty office, 201 E. Philadelphia Ave., Boyertown. Children will receive cookies, a coloring book and crayons.
Also, look for agents at Boyertown’s Unity Tree Lighting which takes place at Ellixson’s Gardens of Boyertown on Dec. 6 from 6 to 7 p.m. The event includes live entertainment, candlelit caroling, children’s chorus, refreshments and photos with Santa. The tree lighting will be at 7 p.m.
Zuber Realty will also participate in Building a Better Boyertown’s Chillin’ on Main on Dec. 7, which runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Holiday Light Tour maps will be available at this event.
