The Retail Trade Turnover Value Index in Cyprus saw a 3.1 per cent increase in September 2024 compared to the same month in 2023, according to a report from the Cyprus Statistical Service.
During the same month, the Retail Trade Turnover Volume Index also rose by 3.3 per cent year-on-year, indicating an overall growth in retail activity.
For the period from January to September 2024, the Retail Value Index experienced a year-on-year increase of 5.0 per cent.
Meanwhile, the Retail Volume Index recorded a 3.8 per cent rise compared to the same period in 2023, reflecting a consistent upward trend in Cyprus’ retail sector.
