A Nicosia man has been remanded in police custody after officers found his with 450g of cannabis.
According to the police, while officers were on patrol on Saturday they stopped a car being driven by a 21-year-old in an area of Nicosia.
In a search of the car that followed, police found several bags of dried cannabis, with a total weight of 450g.
The 21-year-old was immediately arrested while on Sunday he was taken to Nicosia district court, which issued a three-day remand order against him.
