Premium Access Cyprus and Thanos Hospitality Services held a working breakfast for the media on December 3, 2024, at Labs Tower in Nicosia, to announce the launch of their partnership.
On behalf of Premium Access Cyprus, Shaul Keinan, spoke of his vision for the island, but also about the company’s decision to proceed with the revival and development of the iconic Palm Beach Resort, seeing the potential for the development of the Voroklini beachfront – especially after the relocation of the oil and gas facilities. An investment in excess of 100 million euros, which is of particular importance for Larnaca and, by extension, for our country and its tourism product.
With absolute respect for the history and tradition of the Palm Beach resort, but also of the city itself, Premium Access Cyprus and Thanos Hospitality Services are thus joining forces to place this magnificent investment on the global map of luxury destinations. Thanos Hotels & Resorts’ 50 years of experience in Cyprus’ luxury hospitality sector, further combined with their hotel management expertise and specialisation, are guaranteed to make the Palm Beach Resort synonymous with elegance and premium services.
Welcoming attendees, owner and CEO of Thanos Hotels and Resorts, Thanos Michaelides, spoke at length about Thanos Hospitality Services’ strengths and capabilities in particular. The Group’s business unit offers added value to its customers and investors, and is well-positioned to address and manage the multifaceted modern requirements of a five-star project such as the Palm Beach Resort.
To date, Thanos Hotels & Resorts has three luxury resorts in Cyprus that have won international awards: the Anassa, Annabelle and Almyra. In 2023, the Group made a dynamic entry into the Greek luxury hospitality market, choosing Mykonos to present its new hotel brand – Amyth Hotels. In fact, in early 2025, the Amyth of Nicosia will be added to its portfolio, while its development of the historic Berengaria Hotel is also under way. With this promising new partnership, the Group’s footprint will expand to Larnaca, which in recent years has been among Europe’s most popular destinations.
Also presented at the event by the project’s architects Eraclis Papachristou and Christodoulos Christodoulou, were features of the new Palm Beach Resort itself, expected to open in 2026. In addition to the five-star hotel, the impressive mixed-use development will include pitches for an array of sports, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a state-of-the-art gym, a playground, luxury ground-floor private residences, a tower with apartments for owner-occupancy, fine-dining outlets, entertainment areas, a wellness centre for relaxation, as well as a beautiful beachfront, offering activities and water sports.
In terms of sustainability, everything has been designed with attention to detail, to create a destination within a destination, located in one of the most idyllic spots in Cyprus. Hence, Palm Beach Resort is rightly expected to become one of the Mediterranean’s must-visit destinations, offering guests and residents an unforgettable experience of a lifetime.
