LEXINGTON, N.C. (WGHP) — The Lexington Police Department is still investigating the disappearance of a woman who was last seen two months ago.
31-year-old Nancy Bunly was last seen leaving her home on Sunday, Sept. 22.
She is five-feet-four-inches tall, 120 pounds and could possibly be driving a black 2017 Honda Pilot with the North Carolina license plate “RBA-2896”.
On Oct. 3, investigators announced that they had expanded their search effort into the Abbotts Creek area and asked people to review their Ring camera and other security system footage from 3 p.m. on Sept. 22 to Sept. 23 for signs of the Honda Pilot.
In a Friday news conference, the LPD confirmed that although they have yet to locate Bunly or the vehicle, the investigation remains active.
Investigators say that “a minimum of 48 additional supplemental investigative reports” have been filed in the case as of Friday morning.
The police department called for the community to continue sharing the photos of Bunly and the missing vehicle as part of the search effort.
Police encouraged people not to limit their search for the vehicle and Bunly to just the city of Lexington but throughout the greater Triad as well.
Anyone who sees Bunly, or her car, or has any information on her whereabouts is asked to call Lexington police at (336) 243-3302 or Lexington Area Crime Stoppers at (336) 243-2400.
