As part of an investigation into an alleged sham marriage case, police arrested a 25-year-old man on Monday.
A police statement released on Tuesday said that the man was taken into custody under a court-issued warrant.
According to the statement, two other individuals, a 31-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman, were also arrested in connection with the case and remain in detention under six-day custody orders.
The Aradippou police station is continuing its investigation into the matter.
