Osama Hamdan: Hamas maintains “high capacity” to continue the war

Hamdan said in an interview with Agence France-Presse that “the resistance’s ability to continue is high and will continue,” adding that “there are martyrs and there are sacrifices… but in return there has been an accumulation of experiences and the recruitment of new generations into the resistance.”

The Hamas leader stressed that the movement wants “joint Palestinian rule” over the besieged and destroyed Gaza Strip after the end of the war.

He continued: “The next day must be Palestinian. We went to Beijing, negotiated as Palestinians, and agreed to form a national unity government to manage Palestinian affairs in Gaza.”
