Online retail sales in China rose 8.6 percent

According to the agency, the formation of new momentum for consumer e-commerce is accelerating. Among the total online retail sales in China during the first three quarters, the sales volume of physical goods reached 9.1 trillion yuan, an increase of 7.9 percent. Measures to boost digital consumption have been effective, as consumption of online services has grown rapidly, and the policy of “replacing old goods with new ones” is driving a new growth point.
