November events to look forward to

November events to look forward to

It is hard to believe we are already approaching the November events’ agenda yet the new month is right around the corner so it is time to look ahead. Next month, a new wave of exciting events is taking place around the island. Here is a selection of what not to miss.

Foodies get ready, the last Fork Food Market of 2024 will take place on November 1 and it will return to Geri. The Parko Glypton will welcome back street food vendors, bars and food lovers (next to the Ayios Charalambos church) as fresh food sizzles in the air. Alongside the market staples – burgers, hot dogs and bao buns – there will also be pad thai noodles and tiramisus this time. On the decks, DJ Solonas will add to the event’s festive mood.

Later in the month, the now-annual Limassol International Book Fair 2024 will return to Lanitis Carob Mill for its third edition. Over 150 authors and industry professionals will take part this year alongside some 100 exhibitors in over 100 events and four stages. Bookworms and professionals, mark your calendars for November 22-24.

Around the same time, the Christmas villages will open around Cyprus. On November 23, the well-known Medieval Christmas Village of Fikardou will open its doors to visitors with a festive programme of music performances, traditional delights to taste and plenty to see and do. For 45 days, Fikardou will offer seasonal fun including crafty workshops for old and young, live entertainment and of course, Christmas spirit.
