NeurAbilities Healthcare names new CEO

NeurAbilities Healthcare, a provider of comprehensive and coordinated neurological and behavioral services in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, has announced Andrew (Drew) Holstein as its new chief executive officer.

NeurAbilities is based in Voorhees, N.J., and has 17 locations across the two states, including two locations in King of Prussia, one in Bala Cynwyd, one in Hatboro in Montgomery County; one in Wyomissing, Berks County; and one in Chester, Delaware County.

NeurAbilities’ diagnostic and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) centers help identify and serve children with autism among other neurodevelopmental and behavioral disorders.

Holstein is a University of Scranton graduate with an MBA in healthcare management from Temple University, and has dedicated much of his career to serving complex healthcare needs or chronic conditions, the company said in a press release.

He most recently served as senior vice president of growth, care delivery at Fresenius Kidney Care where he led several teams in market development, joint venture, acquisitions, and admissions.

“As NeurAbilities continues to expand its reach and increase the number of patients and families it can serve, Drew joins us at an integral and optimal time,” Keith Jones, chairman of the board of directors for NeurAbilities Healthcare, said in a statement. “We are very excited for him to play a crucial role in the next phase of our growth.”

With decades of healthcare leadership and business experience along with a passion for delivering high quality patient care, Holstein is committed to upholding NeurAbilities’ patient-first philosophy while exploring new opportunities, NeurAbilities said in the release.

With the prevalence of autism rising to 1 in 36 nationally, the demand for services has never been higher, the healthcare provider said.

“A clear priority to me moving forward is further identifying opportunities to provide our breadth of services to more patients,” Holstein said in a statement. “Prioritizing high quality patient care is a way to support our surrounding communities while growing our business.”

Between 2020 and 2023, NeurAbilities opened 14 ABA centers to complement its three diagnostic centers and serve children with autism and other behavioral concerns.

NeurAbilities Healthcare currently employs more than 680 team members in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
