Interviewed by DAZN, Edinson Cavaninow at Valencia, looks back on his important three years at Naplesfrom summer 2010 to July 2013.
As El Matador: “The Napoli Scudetto was a great moment, everyone went crazy, that’s what happens when you fight so much and you’re not used to winning. The fans were so in need of a good emotion like this. All the years of my career – Cavani said – have been fantastic, but those in Naples have been special for a matter of culture. I’m more a player from teams that have to fight with bigger ones, I like more the challenge against northern teams like in their case to get historic goals. I didn’t win a lot in Naples, but we had good moments, like the Coppa Italia after a long time. From that moment on, Napoli relaunched up to the Scudetto. I also wrote a post after winning the Scudetto, a small sentence but felt like the final “Forza Napoli”.
