A 28-year-old man has been remanded in Ayia Napa for eight days in an ongoing burglary case.
Famagusta police said the theft took place on October 31 in Ayia Napa when a 49-year-old tourist reported that his rental residence was broken into and some of his belongings were stolen.
After investigations at the suspect’s house police found stolen electronic devices.
An arrest warrant was secured and on Monday he was re-arrested and brought before the Famagusta District Court where he was remanded in custody for eight days.
