A man in his 40s was found dead after concern was raised for a person.
Emergency services were called to St Margaret’s Bay, near Dover, after the alarm was raised.
Police and the coastguard arrived at the scene after the call-out at 9.45am on Thursday (September 26).
A man in his 40s was located but he was sadly pronounced dead.
It is understood he was found on the beach.
“The death is not currently being treated as suspicious and a report is being prepared for the coroner,” a police spokesman said.
