A 58-year-old man was arrested at Paphos airport after police found him to be in possession of a total of 32 grammes of cocaine, the police announced on Thursday.
The man was arrested after arriving at the airport on an inbound flight from the United Kingdom on Wednesday. Customs officers stopped him for a search and found two nylon packages containing a total of 32 grammes of a white powder in his trouser pockets.
A later analysis of the substance concluded that it was cocaine.
