A 27-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday morning after arriving at Larnaca airport with 24 kilograms of cannabis in his luggage.
The police said a check of the man’s luggage had found the cannabis to be stored in 41 packages, after he had arrived at Larnaca airport on an international flight.
The man is expected to appear in court to be remanded in due course.
The police’s investigation into the matter is ongoing.
