His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, directed the establishment of the Dubai Center for Judicial Technical Expertise to regulate the affairs of technical expertise in Dubai, and develop the legislative system for the work of providing expertise before judicial authorities in Dubai.
His Highness stressed that empowering the judicial system in Dubai, consolidating its transparency and developing its procedures enhances the world’s confidence in Dubai’s economy and the well-being of living there, and proves the efficiency of its legislative and judicial structure, so that Dubai will always become the first destination for investment and business and the best place for living and living.
His Highness said in a blog post on the social media platform “X”: “In accordance with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to develop the judicial system in Dubai to achieve societal stability, economic growth, and safeguard rights and freedoms, and for the purposes of developing the system of technical expertise before the judicial authorities in Dubai, we directed the establishment of The Dubai Center for Judicial Technical Expertise is responsible for regulating the affairs of technical expertise in Dubai, and developing the legislative system for the work of providing expertise before judicial authorities in Dubai. We also directed the preparation of indicators to measure the work of experts, the development of a new system for inspection and oversight of the work of experts, and the preparation of an advanced mechanism for appointing experts in various cases. We will aim to double the number of experts registered in the experience registers to accommodate the population increase and economic growth that the emirate is witnessing.”
