Majid Al Futtaim Group decides to stop all Carrefour operations in Jordan

The group added in a post on the page Carrefour Jordan On Facebook, “We thank our customers for their support and apologize for any inconvenience that may result from this decision.”

Carrefour was among the brands that were hit by the boycott campaign by the Jordanians in solidarity with the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the Israeli war on the Strip on October 7, 2023.

On the other hand, she called Al Futtaim Group To open the new Hyper Max brand in Jordan.

She said in a statement, a copy of which was obtained by Reuters, “We are pleased to invite you to participate with us in the launch of Hyper Max, our brand new food brand in the retail sector in Jordan, which is wholly owned by Majid Al Futtaim.”

She added that the opening will be tomorrow, Tuesday, at City Mall in the capital, Amman.

The group stated that the new chain will provide, through its 34 stores across the Kingdom, locally sourced foodstuffs and home supplies that meet various customer needs.
