Long queues are building on a motorway as a key tunnel has shut in both directions due to a “technical issue”.
There are delays on the M20 approach to the Roundhill Tunnel in Folkestone.
National Highways has said shut down both sides of the carriageway, causing queuing traffic.
A spokesman said on X: “The A20 Roundhill Tunnel is closed in both directions between the A260 in Hawkinge and the M20 in Folkestone due to a technical issue.
“National Highways resources are en route to the scene.”
