The strike measures announced by the Larnaca public transport company were withdrawn after the acceptance of a mediation proposal and buses are operating normally on Wednesday, authorities announced.
The labour ministry in its statement said “the strike measures of the employees of the Larnaca Public Transport Company scheduled Wednesday have been withdrawn, after the acceptance of a mediation proposal submitted by the ministry and accepted by both sides.”
The ministry added that normal operation of public transport in Larnaca district had resumed.
