Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos will brief his EU counterparts on the latest attempts of Turkey to upgrade the illegal breakaway regime at the Organization of Turkic States.
According to an official press release, Kombos departs Sunday for Brussels, where on Monday, November 18, he will participate in the Foreign Affairs Council of the European Union.
The council will focus on the ongoing Russian aggression against Ukraine, the current developments in Georgia, EU-US relations, the situation in the Middle East, as well as regional instability in the Horn of Africa.
The minister will also brief his counterparts on the recent developments in relation to the 11th Summit of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States and Turkey’s efforts to upgrade the pseudo-state.
Before the Council, Kombos will participate in the working breakfast of the EU Foreign Ministers with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Moldova Mihai Popsoi.
