Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov has accused US billionaire Elon Musk, the head of Tesla, of remotely disabling his Tesla Cybertruck, which he says he received as a gift from him in August.
Kadyrov shared a video in August showing him behind the wheel of a Tesla Cybertruck with a machine gun mounted in the back of the vehicle.
Kadyrov announced that Elon Musk had presented it to him, while the latter said, on the “X” platform, that these were false claims.
“Finally, Musk remotely disabled the Tesla Cybertruck. It’s not good that Elon Musk behaves this way. He gives expensive gifts and then remotely disables them,” Kadyrov said in a post on Telegram.
Kadyrov noted that the vehicle he received was used in the theater of military operations and sent to Ukraine, where it “performed excellently.”
Ramzan Kadyrov, 47, has shown unconditional support for Russian President Vladimir Putin, and has confirmed sending thousands of troops to help the Russian army in its offensive in Ukraine.
