An Israeli border police officer was stabbed in Jerusalem’s Old City on Sunday in what police described as a “terrorist” attack.
The police quoted medical sources as saying that the attack took place near Bab Damascus (Bab al-Amoud) and the policeman was evacuated for treatment.
“Border police officers engaged the terrorist and neutralized him with gunfire, ending the attack quickly and professionally,” police said.
