Araqchi said in a post on the “X” platform that the Iranian move against Israel came after Tehran exercised a tremendous amount of restraint, to make way for a ceasefire in Gaza.
Araqchi added: “Our action has ended unless the Israeli entity decides to invoke more retaliation, and in that scenario our response will be harsher and stronger.”
The Iranian Foreign Ministry earlier called on the UN Security Council to take “constructive measures” to prevent the threat to regional peace and security.
