Police are taking increased security measures across points of entry, embassies and other sensitive locations, due to the situation in the Middle East, spokesman for the force Christos Andreou said on Saturday.
Asked about police measures in light of Israel’s attack on Iran, Andreou told CNA that security measures are adjusted in line with the developments and intelligence gathered by the police.
Given the sensitive nature of national security issues, it would not be wise to disclose specific details about these measures, he said.
