Harris campaign warns: Election results may take “several days”

Elections will be held on Tuesday in all parts of the country USBut more than 75 million voters cast their votes in advance, whether by mail or at polling stations, especially in the seven swing states that will decide who will sit in the Oval Office on January 20.

On Monday, Harris campaign chairwoman Jane O’Malley Dillon said during a conference call that “new ballots will continue to be counted several days after… Elections. This is definitely not evidence of fraud, it is simply the way things are.”

She added, “We believe that this race will be incredibly close, which means that we may not know the results of this election for several days.”

She explained that with regard to the final results of the presidential elections in the seven swing states (Georgia, North Carolina, Nevada, Arizona, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin), they will begin to be issued sequentially from “late night” Tuesday-Wednesday, until the eighth or perhaps the ninth of this November in Nevada and Pennsylvania, the state. Located in the northeast of the country and the most important of all in the presidential elections.

The Republican candidate’s camp continues to accuse the Democrats of being involved in “rigging” and “cheating” in the electoral process in key states, while the Democratic candidate’s camp fears that Trump will rush to cast doubt on any potential Harris victory and declare that he has won the presidency, contrary to reality.

In turn, Dana Remus, a senior adviser to the Harris campaign, warned, “We cannot and will not allow Trump to discredit the elections or our institutions through his repeated attempts to sow chaos and doubt.”

She added, “Despite all the noise that Republicans are making in order to undermine the elections and claim fraud, voting is now easier and safer than ever in almost all of the swing states since the reforms we approved after 2020.”

Trump never admitted his defeat in the elections that took place four years ago, and today he is being criminally prosecuted on charges of trying to tamper with those results.
