Hamas leader: Netanyahu is the “main obstructionist” of the negotiating rounds

Badran said: “The allegations promoted by Israel against the leader of the movement, Yahya Sinwar, are not worth stopping at, as Israeli cameras documented him while he was fighting on the battlefield.”

He added: “We went to October 7 under the leadership of the commander Yahya Al-Sanwar To protect our Palestinian cause, defend our people and our constants, and put them at the top of the world’s priorities.”

He explained that what was presented by the “spokesman Israeli army It is nothing but a miserable and ridiculous attempt to correct the failure that has clearly emerged in the Israeli security and military system.”

On the other hand, the Hamas leader highlighted that the movement “possesses its own Shura and executive institutions, and has its own internal regulations that always enable it to arrange its internal situation, no matter how difficult the circumstances are, and history is a witness to that.”

He added, “The main obstructionist in the indirect negotiation rounds is Netanyahu and his extremist government,” noting that “Hamas’s decision is a collective decision taken through the Shura and executive institutions.”

On Saturday, the Israeli army spokesman, Avichay Adraee, showed a video clip showing the late Hamas leader, Yahya Sinwar, in one of the tunnels next to members of his family on the night of October 6.

Adraei posted the video on his social media accounts and commented: “New pictures of Yahya Sinwar Late on the night of October 6, shortly before the October 7 massacre, Al-Sinwar appears preoccupied with his own survival and the survival of his family members and preparing his escape route.

Adraee added: “In the video clip, we see Sinwar and his family members escaping to an underground complex that fell under their house, during the night of October 6.”

He continued: “Al-Sinwar, his sons and his wife escape to the tunnel and supply it for long hours in order to supply bags of food, water, pillows, a plasma screen, mattresses and other products necessary for a long stay.”

For his part, Israeli army spokesman Daniel Hagari said on Saturday that Sinwar had been living inside the tunnels throughout the war.

On Thursday evening, the Israeli army officially announced the killing of Sinwar in an army operation in the city of Rafah, south of Gaza.

A statement by the Israeli army said: “At the end of a year-long hunt, IDF forces in the southern Gaza Strip killed the so-called Yahya al-Sinwar, the leader of agitation“.
