A diverse event with activities for all ages is coming on November 16 organised by the Enavsma Foundation as it participates in the Access City Festival. Focusing on people’s stories and the life-changing impact they can have, the foundation organises the Let Me Tell You a Story… event, a whole day of activities filled with life stories, children’s tales and artistic interventions.
Held on the first floor of the AG Leventis Gallery, a series of actions will unfold from 11am to 2pm. The floor will transform into a human library filled with the personal stories of Human Talks Cyprus. There, visitors will have the chance to speak one-on-one with people who will share their unique experiences – whether related to their religion, nationality, disability or other topics with the aim of breaking down prejudice. Alongside the one-on-one conversations, in the amphitheatre of the gallery some of the participants will share their life stories with a broader audience, with additional surprise stories that are sure to inspire.
At the same time, the second floor of the gallery will be filled with children’s stories in collaboration with the Cyprus Association of Children’s and Young Adult Books. Three children’s authors – Santi Antoniou, Eleni Svoronou, and Melina Karekla – will captivate kids with their stories, combining storytelling with play, improvisation, writing and visual activities.
All of these stories, and the day full of creativity and encouraging talks continue the Enavsma Foundation’s mission to support continue and inspire young Cypriots to write their own stories through education.
