The new Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk undertook, at the start of the week, a tour of Paris and Berlin after his first visits which took place, of course, in Brussels and Kiev. For Paris and Berlin, it was in fact a question of renewing ties since Donald Tusk's predecessor was not particularly friendly with his German neighbor in particular. The tension was even immense to the point of pushing Poland to demand war damages from Germany. So it was a matter of calming things down. Obviously, everyone is delighted to see the three most populous countries in Europe coming together again to try to think about progress in European construction. Just think! France, Germany, Poland: it looks like a kind of geopolitical axis. Moreover, we brought the famous Weimar triangle out of the closet for the occasion.
