French Presidential Secretary-General Alexis Kohler announced the formation of a new government on Saturday, hoping to end the political uncertainty that has continued for two and a half months after inconclusive early elections that resulted in a hung parliament.
Antoine Armand became finance minister and Jean-Noël Barrot took over as foreign minister in a government largely made up of centrist and conservative parties, Kohler said.
