Police on Sunday announced they had arrested a fourth person after a delivery driver was beaten up on Thursday in Limassol.
The 26-year-old was arrested on Saturday after a warrant had been issued against him on charges of conspiracy to commit a crime, rob and cause damage.
The driver reported that while he had been driving his motorbike in an area of Limassol to deliver food an unknown person, also riding a motorcycle, approached him and hit him in the leg as a result of which he fell to the ground.
A car that was overtaking then stopped in front of him and the front seat passenger got out and hit him in the face.
The attackers then took his phone off him and threw it to the ground, destroying it, he said.
The initial three arrests were made on Thursday, and the accused were remanded in custody for six days.
