flydubai and Saudi Ground Services renew handling services agreement

flydubai has signed an agreement with Saudi Ground Services Company, renewing its previous agreement for ground handling services at various airports in the Kingdom served by flydubai.

The three-year agreement was signed by Hamad Obaidalla, Chief Commercial Officer at flydubai, and Mohammed bin Abdul Karim Mazi, Chief Executive Officer of Saudi Ground Services.

Hamad Obaidalla, Chief Commercial Officer at flydubai, stressed that signing the agreement reflects the long-standing and solid relations between flydubai and its strategic partners within the Kingdom’s market, as it is one of the carrier’s most important markets.

Obaidullah said: “We thank the competent authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for their continuous efforts in providing support to flydubai’s operations within the Kingdom. This confirms flydubai’s commitment to providing the highest standards of service to its customers in the Kingdom and facilitating the flow of trade and tourism between the two brotherly countries, which has witnessed significant growth rates over the past years.”

For his part, Mr. Mohammed bin Abdul Karim Mazi expressed his happiness with the continuous development of the strategic partnership between flydubai and the Saudi Ground Services Company, which is witnessing a new qualitative shift through the renewal of this agreement to serve flydubai flights at the Kingdom’s airports. He also expressed his thanks and appreciation to the executive management of flydubai for their confidence in the company’s services.

He said: Flydubai represents a fundamental pillar of the Saudi Ground Services Company’s balance of customers and strategic partners, and is a continuation of its development projects, programs, distinguished services, and vital role in upgrading the airport services system in the Kingdom according to the highest international standards, expressing his pride in the success of Flydubai and its distinguished role in serving the travel movement, tourism prosperity, and trade exchange between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

From its hub at Dubai International Airport, flydubai operates regular flights to a number of destinations in the Kingdom, such as AlUla, Neom, the Red Sea, Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and other airports, providing passengers with a variety of travel options to Dubai and beyond.

Flydubai offers its passengers convenient connections to Dubai and across its growing network, and a more comfortable travel experience on its modern fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft, whether in Business or Economy Class.

The carrier launched daily services to Islamabad and Lahore in Pakistan from 1 July, Basel in Switzerland from 2 August and Kish Island and Kerman in Iran from 7 September. flydubai operates flights to over 125 destinations, 90 of which did not previously have direct flights to Dubai.
