A fire severely damaged a house in Paphos on Monday night before being extinguished by the fire department. There were no injuries.
Initial investigations said it was likely caused by a short circuit.
“There was extensive damage inside the building and masonry, while the false ceiling and wooden beams were destroyed,” fire department’s spokesperson Andrea Kettis said.
The owner of the house wasn’t inside when the fire started.
