Emirates has announced the deployment of its updated Boeing 777 aircraft to six destinations in the United States, offering customers an enhanced experience in all classes, especially the popular Premium Economy Class and the new Business Class cabin.
The airline will operate the updated Boeing 777 aircraft on direct flights to Chicago, Boston, Dallas Fort Worth and Seattle, as well as to Bogota via Miami, and to Newark via Athens. The updated aircraft feature a four-class cabin configuration with unique interiors and Emirates plans to begin operating its updated aircraft to the US from 1 November, as follows:
· Chicago: Three weekly flights on EK235 and EK236 starting November 1, 2024, increasing to daily from November 22, 2024.
Boston: Three flights per week on flights EK237 and EK238 from 10 December 2024, increasing to daily from 18 December 2024.
· Dallas Fort Worth: Three weekly flights on EK221 and EK222 starting January 9, 2025, increasing to daily starting January 15, 2025.
Seattle: EK228 and EK230 starting January 24, 2025
· Newark/Athens: via flights EK209 and EK210 daily from 10 February 2025
Bogota/Miami: Four flights per week on EK213 and EK214, starting February 19, 2025, becoming daily from March 1, 2025
Emirates will now offer Premium Economy on 10 of the airline’s 12 US destinations by February, and on two South American destinations with Bogota joining Sao Paulo. Emirates Premium Economy will now be available on a mix of Boeing 777 and Airbus A380 aircraft, serving 12 cities across Emirates’ network of 19 destinations in the Americas.
The updated Boeing 777 aircraft also feature Emirates’ new Business Class in a 1-2-1 layout, giving customers more privacy and the highest levels of comfort with a seat that converts into a fully flat bed, as well as a personal mini bar and other amenities.
“We look forward to bringing a new level of comfort and privacy to more cities with our refreshed Boeing 777 cabins, especially with the huge success and demand for Premium Economy on routes such as New York JFK, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Houston served by our refreshed A380 aircraft,” said Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer.
“Introducing our updated aircraft and our commitment to providing our customers with superior in-flight experiences on more routes in the United States reflects our long-term commitment to this important market, and adding more premium options in just a few months will ensure we offer competitive offers and the best value for our customers,” he added.
With the launch of Emirates’ new four-class aircraft, the carrier plans to increase the number of Premium Economy Class destinations served to 27 cities around the world, including Dubai, by the end of 2024, with 48 Boeing 777, Airbus A380 and Airbus A350 aircraft. Emirates customers are already enjoying its new Boeing 777 aircraft to Geneva, Tokyo Haneda and Brussels, and it is set to start operating to Zurich and Riyadh next month.
Continuing to offer Premium Economy across Emirates’ network allows its customers in the US to enjoy the luxury and comfort of Premium Economy to final destinations outside of Dubai such as Mumbai, Bengaluru, Singapore and more.
In addition, Emirates customers flying to United’s hubs in Chicago, Houston and San Francisco can fly in Premium Economy before connecting to hundreds of domestic points and cities in the United States, Canada and Latin America.
