Emirates Airlines concluded its Commercial Operations Management Conference, which was held in Dubai in the presence of more than 850 members of the Emirates Commercial Operations team from around the world. This event is held every two years and is the largest commercial gathering for the airline ever. This year, it was held under the slogan “The Next Stage.” – Qualification, empowerment, and excellence.
The conference is considered a starting point for the airline’s executive commercial operations leaders to engage, encourage and inspire teams about its strategy and vision for the future, as Emirates Airlines works to strengthen its fleet, network and products and prepares for the next stage that promises more growth.
During the event, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Supreme Chairman and CEO of Emirates Airline and Group, honored the distinguished teams and individuals with the “President’s Sales Award” in recognition of their achievements at the level of commercial operations. Speakers from senior officials in the business, aviation and tourism sectors also participated in the conference. , along with motivational speakers and best-selling book authors, over four exceptional days.

During the first day’s activities, Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airlines, held an open dialogue session with employees, after which Adnan Kazim presented his vision for commercial operations and how the teams will work collectively to take advantage of every growth opportunity to maintain the airline’s competitive advantage and global leadership.
Adel Al Redha, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, and Michael Dorsam, President of Finance and Group Services, also highlighted; Olivier Grauman, Executive Vice President of Human Resources, will highlight the latest developments in their fields of expertise.
Nabil Sultan, Executive Vice President, Passenger Sales and International Management, opened the second day’s activities, where he reviewed the airline’s strategic priorities for passenger sales. Conference participants also heard keynote speeches by best-selling authors and motivational speakers, who discussed the dynamic relationship between physical, physiological and emotional readiness for challenges, in addition to how to sell through stories and the power of narrative.
The activities of the fourth and final day revolved around the Emirate of Dubai, where participants discussed future plans and forward-looking initiatives to ensure that the city maintains its competitive advantage and is close to achieving its ambitions in accordance with Dubai Agenda 33, which aims to make Dubai one of the three best cities to live, work and invest.
His Excellency Helal Saeed Al Marri, Director General of the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai, spoke about the next stage that will drive Dubai’s growth. Hoor Al Khaja, Senior Vice President of International Operations at the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai, also addressed strategic growth opportunities and potential synergies to attract more visitors to the city, which was followed by a high-level panel discussion that included experts from Dubai’s tourism and economic sectors.
Emirates Airlines achieved record numbers in terms of profits and revenues in the last fiscal year, as it expanded its operations around the world to meet the strong demand from customers for air travel, who preferred the carrier because of its distinguished experiences on the ground and in the air.
To ensure it continues to deliver on its promise of “always great” travel, Emirates has embarked on the modernization of more than 200 Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 aircraft as part of a multi-billion dollar investment to deliver the best products in the industry to enhance the customer experience in the air. The carrier has also expanded its network by adding Bogota and Madagascar over the past few months, in addition to deploying its updated Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 aircraft, with new cabins that include premium economy class, to 18 cities.
